Ranthambore Aangan Homestay is a boutique homestay of eight rooms at Sherpur Village, on Ranthambhore Road in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, close to Ranthambore National Park. It was founded by Mr. Arvind Jain and Mr. Ravindra Jain, and the family still keeps the house.

There are eight rooms in two types: five Inner Courtyard rooms of 280 sq ft and three Farm House Suites of 450 sq ft. Every room looks onto the garden and takes a twin or king bed.

An Inner Courtyard room is 280 sq ft with a cubicle shower. A Farm House Suite is 450 sq ft, with a balcony and a sitting area with a fountain. Both have a garden view and a twin or king bed.

Every room has air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, an LED smart TV, a refrigerator, a tea and coffee maker, bottled mineral water, a work desk, a hair dryer, a wardrobe, a bathtub, towels and bathrobes, and toiletries. Housekeeping is daily, with a turndown service.

Yes. Breakfast is complimentary with every room at Ranthambore Aangan.

Yes. An extra mattress can be arranged in either room type, at an additional charge.

Children below seven years stay free of charge.

Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be charged.

Every guest needs a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in, and the primary guest must be at least 18 years old. Please share GST details at booking or check-in if you need them on the invoice.

Ranthambore Aangan accepts Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, RuPay, and Diners Club cards. American Express is not accepted.

No. Room rates exclude tax. GST is charged at 18% as per Government of India regulations, and at 12% on an extra bed.

No. Pets are not allowed at Ranthambore Aangan.

No. Outside food and liquor are not allowed on the premises, and neither are hookahs, narcotics, or personal music and speaker systems.

Visitors are not allowed in guest rooms between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and every visitor must register at reception with a valid ID.

No. Ranthambore Aangan does not provide accommodation for drivers, so please make your own arrangements.

Yes. Each room has an in-room locker. The house is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings.

Yes. Ranthambore Aangan has a swimming pool.

Yes. Parking is complimentary.

Yes. Wi-Fi is complimentary.

Yes. Airport transfers are available on request.

Guests eat at Ingredients, the dining hall at Ranthambore Aangan. It seats 20 and serves multi-cuisine food: Rajasthani, South Indian, Continental, Chinese, and Indian specialities.

Ingredients opens at 7:30 AM. The buffet runs at breakfast from 8:00 to 11:00 AM, at lunch from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, and at dinner from 7:30 to 10:00 PM.

Yes. Room service is available in every room.

All safari zones are reachable from Ranthambore Aangan. The Zone 1–5 entry gate is about 8.5 km from the house.

Yes. Jungle safaris are arranged on request. Please tell us your safari needs when you book, as safaris remain subject to government rules and availability.

The best time to visit Ranthambore is from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and wildlife sightings are more comfortable.

Beyond the safari, guests visit Ranthambore Fort, the Chambal Gharial Sanctuary, and the Rajiv Gandhi Museum, and go birdwatching, on a village tour, and on local sightseeing that takes in women’s craft. At the house there is an evening cultural programme and morning and evening hi-tea.
